I met Savannah and her mom at one of my bridals shows in January. I knew after they came back twice to talk to me that Savannah would be booking me! I liked her immediately! I had such a great time talking to the two of them at the show. She and Eric came to meet with Ben and me again a little while later, and I had such an amazing time getting to know the two of them. Savannah and Eric are so much fun! I had such a great time getting to know them better this weekend at their engagement session.
Savannah and Eric love the Wrecking Bar Brewpub and wanted to do their engagement pictures there; so they asked the owner if they could come early before they opened to take pictures. They kindly said yes and let us come and hour before opening to take pictures! I got to sneak into the bar to get some fun angles of the two of them. We had a ton of fun at the Wrecking Bar. Thanks for letting us use the space! We went to lunch there afterwards and a delicious lunch! I’ll be honest, all day long, I had Miley Cyrus’ song, “Wrecking Ball” stuck in my head!
Afterwards, we went to Inman Park and the Jackson Street Bridge. I absolutely loved both locations! Both remind me so much of Atlanta with the trees and green grass and the city in the background. Someone the other day in a photography group said that there is nothing inspiring about taking pictures in Atlanta. Well, I beg to differ. There are tons of great places to take pics! I love my city!
Thanks to Sarah for helping out with sweet Chloe for the pics! I enjoyed getting to know you and Daniel as well at the session and at lunch! I had such a great time with everyone this weekend! I cannot wait until the November wedding!
After Wrecking Bar Brewpub, we went to a corner of Inman Park. Honestly, this part of the park wasn’t all that inspiring to me, but I knew I could make it work! I saw this corner to sit on with the nice tree in the background and then we found this really pretty ivy spot. This turned out to be a perfect spot with the chance to take some really beautiful pictures! I love the ones from this location!!
For our last set of pictures, we went to the Jackson Street Bridge for pictures. I love that there is access from the bridge to take pictures like these! I loved getting to capture these awesome pictures! We were blessed that the sun was behind the clouds during the pictures, so we didn’t have to fight with the sun! It made for a perfect set of pics here!
